Instructor: the accomplished multi-talent Olli Takanen

Olli Takanen is an experienced culinary instructor who has been teaching at Perho for over ten years. He has worked in top restaurants such as Savoy, Nokka, and Bistro O mat, been part of the Finnish National Culinary Team for one Olympic cycle, and is also known as the award-winning cheesemaster of Perho’s dairy. Olli’s training combines practical expertise, a passion for food, and a clear, engaging teaching style.

Duration and Completion

  • Course duration: approximately 2–3 hours
  • The course progresses step by step and includes short review questions
  • The final exam requires 90% correct answers (three attempts allowed)
  • Participants who pass will receive a certificate of completion
  • You can study at your own pace and continue from where you left off

Cancellation policy

Login instructions will be sent to the email address provided by the customer.

Consumer customers have the right, under consumer protection law, to cancel the training without reason and without cost within 14 days from the time of payment for the online course. The training is considered to have started when the customer logs into the DigiCampus learning environment for the first time.

The first login to the learning environment marks the start of using the service, which means that the consumer loses their right of cancellation if they log in before the end of the 14-day cancellation period.

How to Cancel

A cancellation notice must be made in writing and sent by email to Perho PRO at: prokoulutus@perho.fi

Cancellation Fees and Refunds

Registration can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks (14 days) before the start of the training, in which case the payment will be refunded. If the customer logs into the learning environment before the end of the 14-day cancellation period, the participation fee will not be refunded.

In refund cases, the customer must provide the bank account number to which the refund will be made.

Usernames and passwords will be sent to the email addresses provided by the customer.

Consumer customers have the right, under consumer protection law, to cancel the agreement without reason and without cost within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract. The contract is considered concluded when the customer has accepted and confirmed the offer.
